If life is simple, this does not exclude that we regularly have to face storms. You know those moments when everything seems to crumble, our assurances and our securities disappear, the prospect of the future seems completely blocked and where we feel helpless ... Perhaps you are today in this situation where for you the world seems to be falling apart, where you can't see the end of the tunnel… I have good news, one Word is enough to make a difference and change everything… If you are not in this kind of situation, read anyway, because it will happen to you at a time when another… It is normal for any disciple of Christ, here the disciples are in this situation because they followed Jesus (cf. Matthew 8:23). Some of our trials are the normal result of our walk with God.

If you take the time to read the context of the above verse a little, you may discover that the disciples are on a boat in the middle of a storm so violent that they fear dying (cf. Matthew 8: 24-25). This fear is real because of the power of the storm, and yet some of the disciples - Peter, Andrew, James and John - saw others, they were fishermen (cf. Matthew 4: 18-21). If they have such a fear, it is because they have lost control and are in real danger of dying. Likewise when we are in a storm, it's not about trying to relativize or ignore the situation, but knowing how to deal with it by looking in the right place. Jesus could sleep (cf. Matthew 8:24) for He knew something that the disciples did not understand. Jesus had said a Word: “Let us cross over to the other shore” (cf. Mark 4:35). A Word of God makes all the difference, because It is a support which is always fulfilled (cf. Isaiah 55:11)…

So when we're in the storm, all we need is a Word from God. This is what will make all the difference! If instead of worrying and getting agitated we simply acted like the man who is going to say to Jesus “say a word, and my servant will be healed” (cf. Luke 7: 7). We can seek out what God is saying by taking time in prayer to listen to Him where we can continue to struggle on our own… Our decision will determine the outcome and our peace. Here Jesus says three words “silence, be silent” (cf. Mark 4:39) and instantly everything changed, calm arrived ...

This is what God wants for your life, He is with you through the Holy Spirit who lives in you (cf. Romans 8:11). He is the One who directs you and leads you, even if you have the impression that He is sleeping or is absent, He is there and that Word that He said “Let's go to the other side” is always there no matter what. circumstances. What's the Word that He said that you're walking on? For it is essential for all important decisions to act based on His Word ... If you have had one come back and stand firm, and if you have not, ask Him to send a Word ( cf. Psalm 107: 20), because one Word makes all the difference!

It is a question of faith and it is because of the lack of faith that Jesus took back His disciples… Faith is also an excellent antidote to fear, here we see that the disciples were afraid for lack of faith… If you want to overcome your fear, strengthen your faith by remaining anchored in what God is. Victory is your inheritance and the only way out when God has spoken… I don't know where you are today, but why don't you take a moment to just listen to what God is saying in your situation and how to pray to Him and proclaim it. In the same way, share with the people around you the promises of the Word of God

God blessed you richly so that you bless abundantly ...
