A few years ago I found myself in one of the most challenging seasons of my life… I had to face a lot of work as well as many challenges and yet there was inside me a real joy. If the circumstances were difficult, however, I felt like I was in a game in which I found great pleasure. It was there that I discovered the true meaning of the above verse. Life is not a game, however, we must take pleasure in it and rejoice in every moment as if we were playing… God has planned that you will be joyful in all and in all circumstances.

One of the things as far as I was concerned was certainly that I knew I was exactly at the very heart of God's will and plans for my life. God has plans for you and when you live in them there is a sense of fullness and joy… So never look for the easy, but His will because it is there that you can draw water with joy. to the sources of salvation. For salvation is not just receiving the assurance of eternal life with God. It is much more than that, it is the abundant life promised by Jesus (cf. John 10:10) and the freedom to live all that He has planned for our lives (cf. Ephesians 2:10). Jesus saved us from hell to live with Him and for Him now and for eternity ...

Draw water is to recognize that he is the source (cf. John 7: 37-38), he is not a well where one comes when one needs. He is a source into which we dive to let ourselves be carried away by His current. To be led by Him is the assurance of joy and fullness. When we speak of drawing water, it implies an effort to put oneself into action to draw water. In the same way we are called to know how to make violence against our human nature, our flesh, to seek the presence of God and allow the Holy Spirit to dominate us.

When it is spoken here of joy, it is more than an emotion, it is a jubilation. Something that grabs us deep within ourselves to invade us and animate us. It is this state of joy that drives us and makes life a real pleasure. To draw with joy is a decision, that of rejoicing, which is possible because it is about salvation. When you consider who we were, what we deserved - hell and what Christ did out of love - boils down to the condition of a man to die and rise again for us; it cannot cause joy ...

This joy becomes the standard of our life and it is the simplicity of salvation where we live according to His plans and His will ... Position yourself, draw from His presence, learn to live in Him and through Him so that your life becomes like a game. What will touch the people around you, your joy will inspire them and make them want to come and draw also from the sources of salvation ...

God has blessed you richly so that you bless abundantly ...
