From the beginning of Creation, we discover that God chose to make Man his partner for His work (cf. Genesis 2: 19-20) and that has not changed… God created you. so that you can be partners with Him for His Kingdom. And the basis of all partnership and dialogue, so God desires to speak to you so that you know His will… It is simple, because God does not speak in coded or hidden language, He speaks in a clear way so that we can. understand… The challenge is often our ability to listen to our ears in order to be willing to listen to Him. We can pray these words “Lord awake, every morning, awaken my ear, that I may listen as the disciples did (cf. Isaiah 50: 4).

More than just talking to us, God wants to reveal His secret to us, more than that, He tells us that He does nothing without having revealed it to us first (cf. Amos 3: 7). Too often we are surprised by what happens when God wanted to reveal things to us so that we could prepare. Because He is out of time, which means that He is at the same time, yesterday, today and tomorrow ... What an extraordinary privilege to know that God wishes to reveal His secret to us, not for us, but so that we may be one. blessing for the world around us ... It is up to us to know how to listen to be attentive to His voice ...

Jesus said that we are no longer servants because the servant does not know what his master is doing, he is content to carry out his instructions ... If we are indeed at His service, as Paul says, we are His slaves (cf. Romans). 1: 1 - slave is the real word and not servant). He has chosen to make us His friends, those who share His privacy and His secret. Those to whom He wishes to reveal His will and His projects to make us participants with Him… It is up to us to know how to position ourselves, namely do we wish to respond to this invitation to be “Friends of God” or to just serve it. It is the difference between the life of disciple or the religious Christian life ...

Another thing to decide is whether we want to accomplish our own plans or His will… For God does not reveal His secret just to inform us but so that we can obey and act according to His Word. In the Old Testament, the word that is used for listening is the same as that for obeying… To be friends is to do things together and that is what God wants to do with you… He does not need to you, He chose to do things with you just because He loves you… Isn't that amazing?

Jesus is saying here that everything that He has learned from His Father, He makes known to us ... And it is by the Holy Spirit, the third person of the trinity that He does it. He is the One who leads us into all truth (cf. John 16:13). He lives in us and desires to speak to us, lead us and make us His partners to bless the world around us, for it is our call… Why don't you take a moment now to listen to Him?

God has blessed you richly so that you bless abundantly ...
