The miracle is the natural one of God, which implies that it is also that of His children… God loves to perform miracles and He wishes to perform them in your daily life. What is extraordinary is that He chose to make you a partner in His miracles. It is so bad that it is you who determines the extent of your miracle… You want to live a miracle life, so how to act intentionally… Praying for miracles is a good start, however it is not enough, we must know respond to God's intention to manifest His power by setting us in motion (cf. Mark 6:37). What can you do to experience miracles?
First of all, recognize the need for God's intervention and give up trying to do things on your own, with your own strength and intelligence. This is what this widow did, she recognized her need for divine intervention and turned to Him through the prophet Elisha (cf. 2 Kings 4: 1). The miracle always begins with a cry from the heart to God for His intervention. I would like to suggest that we miss many miracles because we are not desperate enough to cry out to God… Stop struggling and wanting to do everything on your own, recognize your need for Christ and His intervention…
Another thing is knowing how to make what we have available to God. Because if God can create everything from nothing, He wants to make us part of His miracle. This is the question Elisha asks this woman “tell me what you have at home” (cf. 2 Kings 4: 2). In Mark 6:38, Jesus will ask the disciples what they have, namely five loaves of bread and two fish. We determine our miracle by making what we have available for Him to multiply and use to manifest His power and glory. It can also be an action, it is a question of taking a step of faith. What must you do to experience your miracle?
There is a price to pay, this widow literally determined the measure of her miracle by the number of vessels she collected. The oil multiplied until all the containers were filled. For this, she had to do violence to herself to disturb her neighbors in order to borrow empty containers. The more she was going to have, the more important her miracle would be. The prophet clearly told him “not a few,” it is about thinking big and expecting a lot - in the measure of who God is. She didn't care what they could of her, nor what oil she had, she just believed and obeyed! It is up to you to enter into the determination and the madness of faith to experience great miracles.
God is eager to work miracles with you, keep your heart sensitive to the needs of the world around you in order to perceive what God desires to do. Then get going, give Him what you have in faith and let Him do the rest ... You will be surprised what He will do ...
God has blessed you richly so that you bless abundantly ...
