You have certainly noticed that the Christian life is not a long calm river, on the contrary it is a life of adventures, challenges and fights ... It is normal and we must know how to take advantage of it, because when we are in eternity with God, these things will no longer exist. To be a disciple of Christ and not to have a fight is not possible, because when we met Jesus and decided to follow Him, we left the kingdom of darkness to enter the Kingdom of Christ (cf. Colossians 1:13) . The prince of this world, satan was defeated by the cross, yet he still exercises his power on this earth and it is for this reason that we have battles (cf. Ephesians 2: 2). Knowing that the fight is normal is important because it allows us to benefit from it and to stand firm ...

When we speak of victory, it implies not only a fight, but also an enemy. It is important to know him so as not to get the wrong target and to fight in the right way ... Your enemy is never a human being, we are called to love our neighbor and to bless those who harm us (cf. . 1 Peter 3: 9). However our enemy is spiritual, they are principalities, authorities in the world of darkness (cf. Ephesians 6:12). Which means that if our fight comes to touch us in our earthly reality, the only way to achieve victory is in the spiritual world, through prayer and faith.

It is for this reason that Paul can say with so much confidence that God always makes us triumph in Christ. For this victory was already achieved about 2000 years ago through the death and resurrection of Christ (cf. Colossians 2:15). Victory is our starting point, for from the moment we made Christ our Lord and Savior we rose up with Him and seated with Him in heavenly places (cf. Ephesians 2: 6). Which implies that as a follower of Christ your position is victory and satan is under your feet, whatever you may feel ...

The other good news is that your final position is also victory, because Jesus will come to seek you to introduce you into His presence for eternity and the devil is bound and thrown into fire (cf. Revelation 20.10 ). So victory is our starting position and our final position, in between we have to stand firm (cf. Ephesians 6: 10-11). Standing firm is a matter of perseverance but also of fighting, which becomes much easier when we know that victory is our inheritance… To the extent that we remain in Christ, that our lives remain rooted in His presence, that our faith is anchored in His authority nothing can destroy us or bring us down ...

This does not exclude trials and sufferings, because victory is a matter of faith, which means that it manifests in our heart. We can be completely weakened and destroyed physically and yet in victory at the level of our spirit. Paul is a perfect example of this, many times he faced extreme pressure and suffering (cf. 2 Corinthians 11: 23-27). However, he remained in this attitude of victory and continued to testify of Christ. Because victory is not for us, it is there to enable us to accomplish His mission of making disciples of all nations (cf. Matthew 28:19).

So we have to change our perspective, to keep that of Christ which is, His kingdom come and His will be done. May lives meet Him and become His disciples, that is spreading the scent of His knowledge… If you are only fighting to get better, you are having the wrong motivation… Arise and fight for His Name to be lifted up and for lives meet Him… God makes you a person who always walks in victory, so don't let anything steal that from you… Take authority in prayer and rise up in faith, the world around you needs this victory that you will bring!

God has blessed you richly so that you bless abundantly ...
